Top 5 Wednesday: Least Favorite Book in Your Favorite Series

*Gel posted a Top 5 Wednesday on a non-Wednesday!* *Oh, what’s new?*

Yay, welcome to my quite-late Top 5 Wednesday! This is my seventh participation in this weekly book meme created by Lainey from gingerreadslainey to share a great love for lists every Wednesday. For this week, the topic is Least Favorite Book in Your Favorite Series.

The items listed below are not in any order. I love (or in this case, not-quite love?) them all equally!

Gel’s Pro Tip: Click on the link on each of the books/authors to get to its Goodreads page! If any of these interested you… well, you’re welcome!

Let’s get started!

1.

The Third Wheel by Jeff Kinney (Diary of a Wimpy Kid #7)

Diary of a Wimpy Kid #7 The Third Wheel Jeff Kinney

Of course, can’t miss this series! This book is the one I didn’t like the most – probably because I feel bad for Greg.

Who doesn’t DREAD to be a third wheel? I personally think that Greg is HOTTER than Rowley, but apparently, humor was really Rowley’s talents.

But I really feel bad for Greg. I’m not keen to reread this book… my heart breaks for him. And the scenarios *wipes tear and whispers “they’re growing up now…”*.

2.

The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #3)

Percy Jackson and the Olympians #3 The Titan's Curse Rick Riordan

This book… just passed by me in a blur. Compared with other PJO books, this was mediocre. Hmm…

3.

Grip of the Shadow Plague by Brandon Mull (Fablehaven #3)

Fablehaven #3 Grip of the Shadow Plague Brandon Mull

This may be an unpopular opinion, but when I think about the Fablehaven series, this book was the least likely to pop up. It’s hard to pick among the books because all of them are amazing, but I believe I just did. LOL!

4.

The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan (Heroes of Olympus #2)

Heroes of Olympus #2 The Son of Neptune Rick Riordan

Yay-Percy-was-back-after-he-was-missing-in-action-on-the-first-book!

But seriously, I dozed off to this book. Sorry, Uncle Rick! The series was really great, though.

5.

The Fate of Ten by Pittacus Lore (Lorien Legacies #6)

Lorien Legacies #6 The Fate of Ten Pittacus Lore

THIS WAS THE HARDEST ONE YET. I absolutely LOVE this series, and I can’t think of any book I didn’t like. But oh well, rules are rules.

I chose this basically because I forgot the main plot of this book. BUT THIS SERIES WAS BOMB, trust me!

THIS IS GONNA BE THE BEST BOOK EVER! GIF

(Maybe I’m a tiny-tiny-bit biased because Pittacus Lore is so handsome I’ve met James Frey, the fave-ulously adorable author!)

Hmm… so my favorite series are mostly Children’s – Middle Grade – Young Adult, huh?

And there you go! I really enjoyed this topic. Interested in joining the group? Then just go to the Top 5 Wednesday group on Goodreads! We’d love to have you. It would be fun, promise!

Have anything to share? I’d love to hear from you.

See you soon on my next post!

  1. If you are looking for a good book series I would suggest Five Kingdoms. I’m on book five and I loved it. I recommend it to all who love to read.
