Top 5 Wednesday: Fictional Items You Want

I’m SO looking forward to this week. Why, you say… just look at that awesome topic! I swear when I saw the topics for this month, I was like “Oh my gosh look at that beauty there.”

Of course, picking just FIVE of all the fictional items, I was stressed out. Can’t I have it all? *cries* But anyway, after grueling hours of “Do I go with this or with that?”, I’ve finally decided on my top 5 (yay!).

It’s time of the week again for Top 5 Wednesday! This is my fifth participation in this weekly book meme created by Lainey from gingerreadslainey to share a great love for lists every Wednesday.. For this week, the topic is Fictional Items You Want.

The items listed below are not in any order. I love them all equally!

Let’s get started!

1.

Wand

According to Harry Potter Wiki, “A wand is a quasi-sentient magical instrument through which a witch or wizard channels her or his magical powers to centralise the effects for more complex results.”

Who cannot WANT this?! Only if this was real, I would be so, SO happy! If I would be able to practice magic here and there, then I would *insert magical and sometimes crazy stuff I would do*.

Voice-changing Bowtie

According to Detective Conan Wiki, “By turning the dial on the back Conan is able to imitate all kinds of voices that he hears.”

First of all: I am an ULTRA-MEGA fan of Detective Conan. You don’t know how many times I’ve fantasized that I would own any gadget of him (I don’t know, too. LOL!).

Voice changers are real technology, but in the real world it has many flaws. Maybe in the near-future, they can emulate an amazing technology like this.

But not for now, so I’m off fantasizing again!

And IF I could own this, I would probably imitate the voices of a bunch of Pokémon. Trolling siblings at its finest.

Winged Shoes

According to Riordan Wiki, “Winged shoes are magical shoes given as gifts by Hermes to his children.”

Yes, out of all very cool magical items Percy Jackson and the Olympians have, I proudly choose the ultra-fabulous winged shoes.

But hey, I’m not a child of Hermes (any child of our mother Hecate there? Cabin 20 re-pre-zent!). But this shoes that enables us to fly IS. JUST. AWESOME. Here am I again, hoping that in the near-future, this could be a reality.

But having THE winged shoes from Hermes (whatever means I have to do, I don’t know… maybe someone named Luke would give it to me because I’m irresistible) cannot measure to goddamn technologies.

4.

Unicorn Horn

According to the List of magical items in Fablehaven, “its magical properties include purifying all that it touches, such as purging poison and curing infections. All unicorn horns emanate extreme guilt that render a thief incapable of stealing the horn.”

One, I FREAKING LOVE UNICORNS; two, YOU SAID PURIFY; three, UNICORN HORN!

Oh my gosh (25x). This is what I want! Of course, rest assured I would not do evil deeds with it. *grins* Unicorns are powerful you know, and I don’t want to experience its wrath.

Poké Ball

According to Bulbapedia, “a Poké Ball is a type of item that is critical to a Trainer’s quest, used for catching and storing Pokémon.”

My answer is simple:

If I have a Pokéball, then the Pokémon world is real.

If the Pokémon world is real, then I can catch a Pidgey.

If I can catch a Pidgey, then I can evolve it to Pidgeot (my favorite Pokémon).

If I can evolve it to Pidgeot, then I can be the greatest Pidgeot trainer IN THE WORLD!

And the most important thing is that if be the greatest Pidgeot trainer in the world, I can ride on its back, pretend I’m a wicked Jasmine that instead of a carpet, I ride a beast.

Ah, to lose in the world of fantasy is great.

    I’d want the voice-changing bow tie so I could phone my boss in a disguised voice and say, “I’m a customer, and I want to let you know how great Paul is.” (Ha ha)

  8. It’s so hard to narrow it down to just five items, isn’t it? I’m sure when I first started thinking about this week’s topic I ended up with 7 from Harry Potter alone! A wand would definitely make life a lot more interesting and fun! 🙂

  11. This is awesome. I had to skip T5W this week because I have never read any fantasy novel 😦 Not even Harry Porter series. The Voice Changing bow-tie seems so cools. I think I would want that and perhaps the wand:-)
